The Pause step in an automation sets a wait time between steps. These wait times can be simple configurations of hours, days, or weeks. Pause wait times can also be more advanced. Enter Pause Until.
Use Pause Until to determine the wait by specifying the number of hours, days or weeks after the current date, or use it to set the wait time by evaluating the number of hours, days, or weeks before or after a stored date field on a contact record.
This capability provides additional precision in the timing of steps within your automation.
In the example above, the Pause is configured to release contacts 1 week before a stored contact date field, Renewal Date.
