This articles outlines the new features, functionality and enhancements included in our January product release. Updates include the following topics and are available as of January 31st:
- Drag-and-Drop Editor Enhancements
- Automation Updates
Drag-and-drop email editor enhancements
In an effort to have a more streamlined editor, we have made some small, but impactful changes. To reduce the overall number of drag actions required, you can now drag over a content or action block without first dragging over a full width layout block. We have also added icons to the side of each content section when hovering, so that you can quickly duplicate or remove a row. A new functionality has been added, which will appear in icon format as well - the ability to save a row as a snippet. This will allow you the flexibility of designing a snippet within your campaign or template, without having to open a different editor. See animations below for preview of each of these updates.
Add image, text, or cell group as full-width row
Copy / Remove quick action icons
Save Row as Snippet quick action icon
Automation template library
We understand that setting up automations can sometimes be difficult and time consuming. That’s why we’ve updated our templates library to provide you with a wider range of options. And, we updated the create automation workflow steps so that you no longer need to choose the type of automation as a first step. Now, in Step 2, you can browse automation templates by automation type, industry, or both.
Improved flexibility with automations
It’s our mission to accommodate more use cases in automations. To accomplish this, we’ve made enhancements to the pause step so that you have additional options when deciding how long a contact will wait before the next step. Whether you want contacts to wait for a specific day of the week, day of the month, or are looking to compare a date field, you now have the power to decide. Additionally, when updating a date field, you can now choose between updating it to the current date or a calculated date.
