Yes, landing pages can be personalized through merges of data fields or dynamic display of information based on stored data or category subscriptions. Below we outline two personalization options.
Merge tags
Our drag-and-drop editor includes functionality to personalize a landing page using merge tags. These merge tags can be inserted into a landing page to personalize it with the information submitted through a form to serve as confirmation of submitted details or to personalize a “thank you for subscribing” page with the submitter's first name. Note: Inserted merge tags should match the fields present in the Form that is linked to the landing page.
Dynamic content
In addition to merge tags, our drag-and-drop editor also supports dynamic content. Use this functionality to build dynamic profiles in your landing page to display submitted form information, like preferences, to confirm a subscription. Learn more about using Who Sees This (dynamic content) in our drag-and-drop editors.
Notes
- Merge tag personalization for landing pages is available at the Professional license.
- Dynamic content personalization for landing pages is available at the Enterprise license.
- Both of these personalization options work for landing pages linked in a campaign too - as long as we have that data for the recipient. This would be helpful for customers who want to personalize redirect links in emails that they send. For example, linking to a dynamic landing page that will display specific information to the recipient based on the country they live in.
