You inserted an image from your Media Library into your template or campaign design and the image appeared rotated sideways or upside down. When the file was uploaded to the Media Library, it appeared right side up, the correct orientation. So what happened?
Commonly the camera used to take the photo will mark the photo with data tags (a.k.a. meta tags) to tell it in what orientation (or rotation) to display. Other photo meta tags include location, date, size, etc., for example. This means that a photo may be saved at 90° with meta data to tell it to display as landscape orientation.
To correct this, we can recommend two options:
- Edit the original photo on your device to use the appropriate orientation. Save the new file, upload to Delivra, and use it in your design.
- In Delivra, open the image file from the Media Library and take a screenshot of it on your screen. Save the new file, upload to Delivra, and use in your design.
