SMS Enhancements
Store more data points on the SMS contact record. Customize these additional fields in the Configuration section of the Contacts dashboard to rename, store default values, set preferred format, etc. Then, utilize these fields to personalize messages through merge tags, create SMS segments, and leverage them in Forms and Automation.
There are 10 additional fields for text, dates, numbers, and decimals. Access SMS contact fields in Contacts > Configuration > flip toggle to SMS > then click the new tile, “Configure Fields”.
SMS fields + Forms
All of the new SMS contact fields can be included in your subscribe forms and preference centers. A new SMS field view has been created to change the display to show only SMS fields when editing forms.
SMS + Automation
You now have more capabilities to evaluate SMS contact data in automations, allowing you to target SMS records specifically. In order to accomplish this, we broke down a few existing action and condition steps that either start an automation or evaluate within an automation. Now you will see separate steps for:
- Update Email Field & Update SMS Field.
- Evaluate Email Contact Data & Evaluate SMS Contact Data
- Viewed from Email & Viewed from SMS
With these updates we introduce two new ways to start an automation: Evaluate SMS Contact Data and Viewed from SMS.
Salesforce Integration Updates
Managing and evaluating Salesforce custom object data is an important task for marketers and now you can seamlessly use this data within Delivra. Once object data is mapped, you can easily evaluate data to adjust a contact’s lead score, or determine the next step in the contact’s automation journey.
CNAME Updates
Now you have the flexibility to setup custom domains per account. Previously CNAMEs were configured per each site.
