This articles outlines the new features, functionality and enhancements included in our August product release. Updates include the following topics:
- New lead scoring clauses
- Custom table field management
- Form support of custom table fields
- Updates to automation steps
- Analytics refresh
- Browser branding (favicons)
Lead Scoring
We added two new ways for you to score contact and lead activity. Now you can:
- Adjust a contact’s lead score based on a form submission.
- Adjust a contact’s lead score based on clicking a specified URL.
Form Submission
Easily define form, host web page (optional), and timeframe (optional).
Example: Increase a contact or lead’s score when they submit a form to gain access to content that shows high interest or intent:
- Request a demo
- Request more information
- Access strategy content
Clicked Any URL
Easily add one or more URLs and timeframe (optional).
Example: Increase a contact or lead’s score when they click a link that shows high interest or intent:
- Products & services pages
- Pricing pages
Set up these new scoring clauses at the account level. Go to Contacts > Configuration > Lead Scoring. Learn more about this feature in this online learning module. Note: Lead scoring is available to the Enterprise Plus license.
Mange your custom table fields
We improved consistency and user experience for customers utilizing custom tables with new access to manage fields in a table and new field configuration capabilities. Now you can:
- Set a field alias name.
- Save a field default value.
- Assign date format.
- Create a picklist.
Use custom table fields in forms
We’re introducing support to allow use of custom table fields in forms. This additional flexibility enhances your ability to capture data about your subscribers that can be used in segmentation, automation, lead scoring, etc. When editing a form, you will see new selection menus above your standard fields to choose to view fields from a table.
Note: At this time, only tables setup as a 1:1 relationship can be used in subscribe forms and preference centers. We're working on adding support for other table relationships in the near future.
Refresh for popular report views
We updated default views in several campaign reports, making it easier than ever for you to find performance statistics for multi-segment campaigns, triggers and other automated (or API) campaigns.
Tracking Statistics
Statistics for a campaign that is sent to multiple segments, or campaigns that include multiple sends like triggers and other automated campaigns, will now be displayed in a singular row to see how the overall campaign performed. The arrows can be used to expand the view to see individual send performance:
Mailing Compare
The Mailing Compare also got a similar update. After clicking the Select Mailings button, the select mailing page will no longer require you to track down and select all individual segment listings. A new view for the page will roll-up multiple listings into one row and listing all segments used, separated by commas:
Once a campaign is selected, the view will look as it does in other reports, with the roll-up and expand options to view individual segment statistics:
Note: View updates are applicable to Tracking Statistics, Delivery Statistics, Mailing Compare, View All Outgoing Mailings, Automation Campaign Tracking and Automation Performance reports.
Automation
We made improvements to add flexibility to automation steps based on customer feedback. Now you can:
- Send lead alert to multiple email addresses.
- Compare data between two fields.
Lead Alert
Now a lead alert can be set up to send to multiple email addresses, in addition to choosing a field where other email addresses may be stored, like RepEmail, from the drop-down. Select a field, enter an Alternate Email, and add more email addresses in the Additional Emails box as necessary.
Example: Set up a lead alert to send to not only the sales representative, but also the sales manager and another department that processes the information.
Compare Field Values
Example: Evaluate the last purchase date compared to the date the last coupon was sent to determine if a reminder to use the coupon should be sent.
Note: Currently date and text fields are available for comparison. We're working on adding number and decimal fields in the near future.
Add your favicon
Based on a popular request, we’re introducing browser tab branding, a.k.a. Favicons. The Favicon image saved to your account will be seen on the browser tab when viewing assets like forms & landing pages.
Configure your favicon in Settings > Account Management > General Account Settings > Settings tab. Copy and paste your hosted image URL into the "Icon image for Browser Tab" box.
Note: We recommend using secure image paths, meaning the URL prefix is https, but this is not a requirement.
