In this article we've outlined all of the new features and updates included in our January product release. Topics include a new Automation type, new Facebook Custom Audiences, new Analytics reporting, and more!
Automation
Triggered Automation
When creating a new automation you will find a new type for "Triggered". This automation type allows you to build a workflow that starts by evaluating a date field from a custom table.
Handling multiple records
Identify and send multiple matching records per contact or other identifier through an Automation. Requires use of Custom Tables.
Notes
Applicable to a new Triggered automation or Event automation that starts with "Evaluate Contact Data" from a custom table with multiple records. Custom tables are available at the Enterprise license.
Facebook Custom Audience
New action block available in Automation workflow to add, remove, or create new audience for Facebook Ad groups. Requires Facebook integration connection to your account and Facebook Business Ads.
Update Lead Score
Use “Update Field” action in automation to add / remove points to score for contacts reaching that step in the workflow.
Dynamic Subject Lines
A redesigned clause builder to be consistent with other dashboards that includes new operators for IN, Not IN, Null, and Not Null and can evaluate category membership. Review this article for details about using this feature.
Analytics
Custom Campaign Reports
New operator for "between dates" to narrow custom report results between two configured dates.
New reports in Customer Overview
Three new performance reports available in Customer Overview (Analytics):
1. Segment Statistics
Review metrics and compare the performance of different segments during a specific time period.
2. Form Performance
Review metrics related to your forms, including views, submissions, and contacts created. Drill down to review submission details.
3. Link Performance
Review metrics related to the links included in your email campaigns, including number of campaigns the link was included in, total clicks, and unique clicks. Drill down to review campaign details, and contact click activity.
Account Overview updates
Redesigned report layout with widgets to allow creation of view. Drag-and-drop to reorder, delete, re-add widgets in view. Updated the Delivery & Tracking Statistics section to include the number of campaigns sent during the timeframe selected. Added a new graph to depict Unsubscribe Rate over time.
Mailing Overview updates
Redesigned report layout with widgets to allow creation of view. Drag-and-drop to reorder widgets in view. Select up to 50 campaigns to be viewed. And, easily access this report from the Sent Mailing list on the Campaigns Dashboard.
Drag-and-drop Editor
New "Code" content type available in all editors in the system so you can easily paste HTML code from another source. For example, include Ad Tags to display ads within your email.
Forms
Google Captcha
All newly created forms will include Captcha functionality by default. The Captcha code will be placed in the HTML automatically, it will no longer be an optional block within the form editor.
Notes
If an existing form is edited that includes the original Captcha block, it will be removed and replaced with the default Captcha code. Any edits to existing forms will require a re-export of form code to be hosted on your webpage(s).
Conditional Fields
Set fields to display conditionally based on input of a previous field. Utilize 'Display Conditions' seen on right side when editing a field in the form.
Each field that should be conditionally displayed must have a condition set. We recommend using the Test function of the form to see it in action. Available on Enterprise license.
Required Field Asterisk Placement
Adjust placement of asterisk for required fields in form.
Field Colors
Match your form fields to brand colors. Adjust a field's background color and the placeholder text with two new options: Field Background and Secondary Field Color. Note: These options are available to text fields and drop-down menus.
Re-subscribe
Send a confirmation email to contacts that re-subscribe using your form. Locate this option in the INFO tab of the forms drag-and-drop editor. Note: An account is allowed only one configured confirmation message, no customization is available for the re-subscribe message if one in already in-use in your account.
Picklist
Reorder a form fields picklist with drag-and-drop functionality and choose a default value to be shown. Applicable to lists being created at the form level, not to a picklist applied to a text field in Custom Fields.
Snippets
Snippets created as Reference cannot be deleted and warning page will display to show where the snippet is used. Similar page will be displayed when a referenced snippet is edited.
User Management (Settings)
New setting on an administrator record to control how the paste function works in drag-and-drop editors for that user.
