Benchmarking is the practice of comparing business processes and performance metrics to industry bests and best practices from other companies. Dimensions typically measured for ESPs (Email Service Providers) are Open Rate, Click Rate, Click-to-Open Rate, and Unsubscribe Rate.
Where to find benchmark reporting
We offer such reporting inside your Analytics dashboard. To view benchmark reporting in your account, please go to Analytics > Customer Overview > Company Benchmarks > click 'View Report' button:
Setup benchmark reporting in your account
1. Upon your first visit, you will need to configure your company information and the benchmark widgets you wish to see in the dashboard. In the company benchmarks page, locate the 'Report Options' button and click the down arrow. Choose 'Company Information', seen below.
2. A pop-up will display. Select from the drop-down menus your Industry, Company Size, Company Revenue, and Region. Then, click 'Ok'.
3. Locate and click 'Report Options' to choose the benchmarks to display for the dashboard. A pop-up will display, use the drop-down menus to choose 'Benchmarks to compare' and 'Dates to include'. Then, click 'Ok'.
