Depending on how the Snippet is inserted into the Email Template selected during the create a campaign workflow will determine if it can be edited. When inserting the Snippet, you have two options: Copy and Reference. 'Copy' allows editing of the Snippet in a campaign. 'Reference' will pull in the Snippet read-only and references the original file in Assets.
How-To
Insert a Snippet that can be edited in a campaign
1. Open the Email Template in the drag-and-drop editor.
2. Drop the Snippet icon to the left in the area you want to place in the template layout.
3. Click on the inserted row.
4. On the right, click 'Copy'.
5. Then click 'Select Snippet'.
6. Hover over Snippet file in the library and click 'Use'.
Edit the Snippet in a campaign
1. Create a new campaign or open an existing draft campaign.
2. In step 2, select the template that has a Snippet created as Copy.
3. Click on the Snippet and edit on the right.
Pull in a completed Snippet on-demand when it's not included in the email template
1. Create a new campaign or open an existing draft campaign.
2. In step 2, select any template whether a Snippet is included or not.
3. Drag-and-drop the Snippet icon into the template layout on the left.
4. Click 'Copy' and then click 'Select Snippet'.
5. The Snippet section will be editable on the right.

Notes
Snippets created with the HTML WYSIWYG editor are reference only and may not be edited when used in a template or campaign. Return to the Snippet in your Assets dashboard to make edits to the original Snippet file.
