Our segment feature allows you to build segment clauses that evaluate actions. For instance, you could create a segment that will identify contacts who were sent an email but did not open it. Use that segment to resend the email (perhaps with a different subject line) to that group again.
Actions segments can have a cap placed on them to limit the amount of time for evaluation. As seen in the image below, you can can look at the action for "anytime", "before", "within", and "before & within".
1. Anytime will find all contacts that performed the action at any time.
2. Before will find only contacts that performed the action before the date entered.
3. Within will find only contacts that performed the action within X number of days from the email being sent.
4. Before & Within will find contacts that performed the action before the date entered and within X number of days from the email being sent.
