You can make updates to completed status files saved in your email template library anytime in the Assets dashboard of your account.
How-To
Follow these steps to overwrite the existing template design.
1. Navigate to Assets, then click "Email Templates" from the left menu.
2. Click the expand icon to expose files saved in the "Templates" folder:
3. Locate and hover over the email template file, then click the "Edit" button that appears.
4. A pop-up message will display to allow you to change the email template name. If your intent is to overwrite the existing completed status template file, ensure that the "New Template Name" is exactly the same as the original file name. Click the "OK" button to open the email editor.
5. Edit template as needed, moving through the workflow steps for Design, Preview, and Test.
6. In the last step, Complete, select the "Complete" radio button, then check the box to "Overwrite the files that exist with the same name", then click the "Save and Exit" button (top-right).
Follow these steps to copy/create a new template from the original email template design.
1. Navigate to Assets, then click "Email Templates" from the left menu.
2. Click the expand icon to expose files saved in the "Templates" folder.
3. Locate and hover over the email template file, then click the "Edit" button that appears.
4. A pop-up message will display to allow you to change the email template name. If your intent is to make a copy of the existing completed status template file, ensure that the "New Template Name" is different than the original file name. Click the "OK" button to open the email editor.
5. Edit template as needed, moving through the workflow steps for Design, Preview, and Test.
6. In the last step, Complete, select the "Complete" radio button, then provide a new name for the file. Do not the box to "Overwrite the files that exist with the same name". Click the "Save and Exit" button (top-right).
