This articles outlines the new features and enhancements included in our May product release. Updates include the following topics:
- Branded URLs (CNAME)
- Send frequency setting
- Form publishing
- Segment clause updates
Branded URLs
New functionality available in the Settings of your account to setup your own customized domains to be used for email link tracking, forms, landing pages, content and media files. Enter up to four desired subdomains, generate instructions for your IT department, and then return to your Delivra account to authenticate the subdomains.
This functionality is a self-service product. It is available to Site administrators on our Professional license or above.
Send frequency setting
Let’s face it, it's difficult to track how many emails are sent to contacts in a specific timeframe. There are many different ways emails can be sent to contacts, such as automated emails, triggered emails, or through automation and it is almost impossible to determine if you're overwhelming contacts with too many emails. To help you combat oversaturation, we added a new account level setting to set frequency caps. Configure your caps in Settings > Account Management > General Account Settings > Settings.
And when you have an important message to send, there is an override on the campaign level.
This feature is available to Enterprise Plus license and above.
Form publishing
The days of replacing form HTML code on a website to reflect updates are over! We've released a new publishing method that will embed & call the most recent version of your subscribe form, keeping forms on your web pages up-to-date.
Segments
We improved our segmentation designer to give you more flexibility to target audiences for campaigns. This included:
- New timeframe options for evaluation of actions in regular segments.
- New triggered clause options to evaluate no action.
- Usability improvements for clickstream segment clauses.
Action Clauses
We expanded timeframe options to include a drop-down selection menu to define: anytime, before, within, before & within, and between dates. Previously, the only options were before a date picked from a calendar, and/or within specified number of days.
Trigger Clauses
We developed new trigger clauses to evaluate no actions. These new clauses allow you to setup a one-off triggered response when a recipient does not open or does not click a specific campaign or link.
Clickstream clauses
We updated our already existing clickstream segmentation clauses to include a new import option as well as offer the new timeframe options to evaluate behaviors. Now you may import a list of URLs to evaluate when targeting contacts that viewed - or did not view - certain web pages.
