Progressive forms enable our customers to design forms that capture important information as visitors progress in their journey. This technique will help you gather better subscriber data over time, qualify potential leads, and improve conversion rates and at the same time reduce the risk of form abandonment.
How-To
When editing a form field in the forms drag-and-drop editor, you will see "Progressive Fields" drop-down on the right (seen below). Set the field to Yes and then determine after how many form submissions should the field been seen to the viewer.
Use Case Example
Visitors to your website browse a few products & services pages and are presented with a pop-up form asking for their name & email address. After entering that information, they then move to gated content pages like blogs and resources. The pop-up form presents again and asks for their company name and budget. This information is supplied and the visitors then move onto pricing pages where the pop-up form presents a third time to ask for their purchase timeline and telephone number.
In this example you can see how a single form with fields identified as progressive allow for the gradual collection of information rather than an upfront ask that may seem invasive to the visitor.
