How do I create a SMS segment of all subscribers to a keyword?

Follow the steps below to create a segment of all contacts that opted into a specific keyword. This type of segment can be helpful where you have more than one keyword configured or if you want to create a segment that essentially contains all SMS contacts who subscribed to the keyword.

How-To

1. Navigate to the Contacts Dashboard. Choose Segments from the left-hand navigation.
2. Use the toggle to change from Email Segments to SMS Segments.
   
   
   
   
3. Click "Create SMS Segment" in the top-left of the page.
4. Choose "Regular" as the segment type.
5. Assign name and description for segment.
6. Select the "Shortcode / Keyword".
7. Leave comparisons and other clauses blank.
8. Click Save & Test to return all numbers for that keyword.

Note

If the SMS contact has a linked email contact record, the email record will be shown in the test results.
