You've decided to incorporate SMS into your marketing program. Enabling SMS impacts several modules in Delivra including Home, Contacts, Campaigns, Automation, Reports, and Settings.
Here are the specific examples of where SMS shows up in Delivra:
Home > SMS Usage Reports
In your Home dashboard you will find two widgets directly related to tracking your SMS usage to track SMS messages sent and received for billing purposes.
Contacts > SMS Subscribers Toggle
In your Contacts dashboard you can view a list of all of your SMS subscribers including their status, join date, messages sent, and more. Use the drop down to sort by status. Choose fields (using the three dots next to the magnifying glass) to add more demographic fields to this view.
You can also use the magnifying glass (populates when there is a SMS contact) to search your subscribers.
Contacts > Segments > View SMS segments-
Under the Segments tab you can view and folder your different SMS segments. Use the action button at the top right to create a new SMS segment (you will see an option for triggered or regular after clicking to create the segment).
Contacts > Segments > Create SMS segments-
You can perform basic regular and triggered segmentation of your phone number database (triggered segments include data from your email subscribers if the records are connected). For instance, segment by Area Code or segment by the information you requested through the opt in process.
Contacts > Configuration > SMS Configuration
Previously found in the Settings module, the Text Messaging configuration page allows you to set up your automated SMS responses like double opt-in, error messages, or requests for more information.
Campaigns > View SMS Campaigns
You can view your SMS campaigns, their send date, and their respective status on the Campaigns module. Simply select "SMS" from the "View campaigns that are ..." dashboard.
Campaigns > Create New SMS Campaign Workflow-
Create new SMS campaign type in your Campaigns dashboard. Select the "Create Campaign" action button and choose SMS. Name the message, choose Keyword, type in message, click Contacts, select the segment, schedule, and save.
Automation > View SMS Automations
Adding SMS to your existing Delivra program allows you to start an automation workflow with a SMS message. When sorting your existing automations or automation templates you can use the "View automations that are..." drop down to choose those starting with SMS.
Automation > Choose Template
When starting to build your automation you will use the Choose Template action button. The right side options allow you to sort to look at templates that start with SMS (regular or triggered).
Automation > Send SMS
If you choose to start your automation workflow with a regular or triggered SMS message you will see the Send SMS block in workflow. Click the pencil icon to choose your SMS message to start the campaign. You can also use Send SMS later in the automation.
Automation > Flag Events and Wait for Event
Adding SMS to your Delivra account opens up a few additional options within your Flag Event and Wait for Event workflow steps. You will see options for Clicked on SMS link and Subscribed to SMS. Use these to create different journeys based on your contacts subscriptions and actions.
Analytics > Campaigns
Several SMS reports are available under Analytics > Campaigns. Switch to SMS reports using the Email/SMS toggle. These reports provide a total program overview, recent campaign statistics, or deeper metrics like clicks. NOTE: Not all metrics available for emails are available for SMS messages.
Settings > User Management > Roles
Once you add SMS capabilities to your account you will need to make sure you've given your account administrators permissions to view and edit SMS subscribers or update the Automated text messages. If users have the ability to add mailings they will be able to create SMS campaigns. Note: Only site admins can update roles.
