You've decided to incorporate SMS into your marketing program. Fantastic! Enabling SMS impacts several modules in your Delivra UI including Home, Contacts, Campaigns, Automation, Reports, and Settings.
Here are the specific examples of where SMS shows up in Delivra:
Homepage > SMS Usage Reports
In your Homepage dashboard you will find two widgets directly related to tracking your SMS usage to track SMS messages sent and received for billing purposes. Click "Add Widget" to add these to your dashboard view.
Contacts > SMS Subscribers Toggle
In your Contacts dashboard you can view a list of all of your SMS subscribers including their status, join date, messages sent, and more.
Contacts > Segments > SMS Subscribers Toggle
Under the Segments tab you can view and folder your different SMS segments. Use the action button at the top right to create a new SMS Segment, at which point you can create a Regular or Triggered SMS Segment.
Contacts > Configuration > SMS Toggle
The Text Messaging configuration page allows you to set up your automated SMS responses like double opt-in, error messages, or requests for more information.
Import Files & Field Mappings allows you set rules for how your subscriber data files are imported into your Delivra Account. Once selected you will be given the option to select Email or SMS Subscribers.
Campaigns > View SMS Campaigns
You can view your SMS campaigns, their send date, and their respective status on the Campaigns module.
Campaigns > Create New SMS Campaign Workflow
Create new SMS campaign type in your Campaigns dashboard. Select the "Create Campaign" action button and choose SMS > type of SMS campaign.
Automation > View SMS Automations
Adding SMS to your existing Delivra program allows you to start an automation workflow with a SMS message. When sorting your existing automations you can use the "View automations that are..." drop down to choose those starting with SMS.
Automation > Choose a SMS Template
When starting to build your automation you will have a choice of the type of template use. In step 2 of the automation workflow, use the drop-down menu on the left to choose "SMS" as the type.
Automation > Send SMS
If you choose to start your automation workflow with a regular or triggered SMS message you will see the Send SMS block in workflow. Click the pencil icon to choose your SMS message to start the campaign. You can also use Send SMS later in the automation.
Automation > SMS Actions & Conditions
Adding SMS to your Delivra account opens up a few additional options that you can utilize within your workflow. Actions include: Send SMS. Conditions include: Evaluate SMS contact data, Responded to SMS, Subscribed to SMS, and Clicked SMS link. Use these to create different journeys based on your contacts subscriptions and actions.
Analytics > Campaigns
Several SMS reports are available under Analytics > Campaigns. Switch to SMS reports using the Email/SMS toggle. These reports provide a total program overview, recent campaign statistics, or deeper metrics like clicks.
NOTE: Not all metrics available for emails are available for SMS messages.
Settings > User Management > Roles
Once you add SMS capabilities to your account you will need to make sure you've given your account administrators permissions to view and edit SMS subscribers or update the Automated text messages. If users have the ability to add mailings they will be able to create SMS campaigns.
Note: Only site admins can update roles.
