Clickstream tracking allows clients to integrate post-clickthrough activity data into reports available within the software This activity is recorded through campaigns sent. Click here to read more about this integration.
1. Available Reports
Under the Analytics Dashboard, the following reports include Clickstream information:
- Account Overview
- Mailing Overview
- Tracking Statistics
- Delivery Statistics
- Mailing Compare
- All Outgoing Mailings by Date
- Recently Completed Mailings
- Purchase Reports
- All named "Clickthrough" reports
- Custom Report Builder
- And more
If you have Clickstream enabled and do not immediately see Clickstream metrics on one of the reports above be sure to click the "Report Options" action button and Choose Fields to include in the report.
2. Available Segmentation
Much of the value of Clickstream is being able to react to certain page visits on your site. Build segments from your Clickstream data using our 'Clickstream" segment clause. Chose Clickstream action: Viewed or Did Not View, select the campaign, then select the URL.
Typical segmentation from clickstream data would be pages viewed, $ amount purchased and quantity purchased.
3. Automation
You can also incorporate Clickstream data in your automation workflows through the 'Flag Event' and 'Wait for Event' steps for purchase activity only.
NOTE: While not typically used for strategic purchases, individual clickstream results are available at the Contact level. To access this information hover over the contact record in question and select "View Engagement" from the drop-down that appears on the right. Clickstreams and Purchases will be available tabs for any account that has Clickstream enabled.
