You'll find the automation workflow designer in the Automation dashboard of your account. Use it's Drag-and-Drop functionality to build a workflow from scratch that works for you, or start with one of our workflow templates.
It's important to have a thorough plan for your automation, and there are components that must be setup prior to building your automation workflow.
1. Identify the goal for your automation first.
Defining a goal will help you identify how many emails to include, the overall time frame, what actions to include, etc. in the workflow.
2. Setup all emails to be included in your workflow.
- The kickoff (1st) email of your automation must be a Regular, Triggered, Automated or SMS campaign type.
- All subsequent campaigns must be the Automated (or SMS, if applicable) type.
