The term "footer" refers to the automatically appended information to outgoing mailings that identify the sender. Footers also include unsubscribe, forward to a friend and a link to a privacy policy.
All accounts are setup with a default footer. Additional footers can be created in the Settings of your account. Applying a custom footer is done in the Content file itself: Open your Content file > click the INFO tab on the right > scroll down to find the Footer drop-down menu.
