How do I use the Split clause in a segment?

Use the split segment clause to divide a segment in 2 or more parts.  The Split clause is a supplement to your segment clause and cannot be used as it's own clause.  Be sure your segment contains desired clauses before adding the split clauses.

How-To

1. When creating a new segment field choose "Split".

2. Next, assign however many groups this segment should be split into.
3. Select which group this segment should pull.

4. When you are ready to create the segment for the next group, simply copy the first segment and change the group criteria to say 'Take the 2nd' (or 3rd, or 4th, etc.).
