One advanced personalization tactic used by email marketers is Dynamic Content. Dynamic Content allows you to to send one campaign while personalizing content for each recipient. In the drag-and-drop editor, you can replace certain text or image blocks based on "Who Sees This".
"Who Sees This?" functionality relies on either data stored for your Contacts, or if Contacts are in or not in an existing category in your account. For example, if you want to create a special offer for subscribers that are interested in deals, you must either have subscribers in a category for that interest, or store data to their records.
You can save certain dynamic profiles if you plan to use them again (like clients and prospects). You may see a green dot next to your saved dynamic content profiles - these indicate that profile has different content on it than what you're currently viewing.
