DESCRIPTION
In this article we will discuss what types of forms are available and the differences between them. The huge benefit to using Delivra forms is that you, the client, can access, customize and make updates easily without needing Delivra intervention.
1. Subscribe Form
A subscribe form is typically used on your website and usually asks for minimal information. Upon submission, the signup will be added to your Delivra account automatically.
Features:
- Demographic fields and category selections
- Redirect URL to a thank you page
- Hidden fields to pass information to contact record for trigger and/or segmenting purposes
- Can send hello and confirmation messages upon submission
- Can be hosted by Delivra or Client
- Fields can be marked as required
- Form templates available
2. Preference Center
A preference center is typically used in the footer of outgoing mailings. There a current subscriber can update their name, demographic info and categories they are subscribed to as well as unsubscribe if they so choose.
Features:
- Demographic fields and category selections
- Redirect URL to a thank you page
- Can only be hosted by Delivra
- Submission will update existing Contact record
- Can be configured to be used in footer, or linked in Content
- Multiple Preference Centers can be enabled for different footers
- Fields can be marked as required
- Form templates available
3. Unsubscribe Forms
An unsubscribe form can be used on your website to give subscribers the ability to unsubscribe from a source other than the footer of your email.
Features:
- Redirect URL to a thank you page
- Submission will unsubscribe the Contact record in Delivra (if the record already exists)
- Can be hosted by Delivra or client
- Can be configured to be used in footer, or linked in Content
- Form templates available
