Sometimes we receive requests from customers to either move or create an unsubscribe link to the header of their emails. Accomplishing this task can actually be done inside of your email design, whether at the email template level or in a campaign. Follow the steps below to create an unsubscribe link at the top of your email design.
1. Turn off the default Online Version header in Settings > Account Management > General Account Settings > Settings > Sending:
2. Uncheck the box for "Show online version link".
3. Open your email template or campaign and navigate to step 2, design.
4. Add a new text content section to the top of the email design. In this section, create a text hyperlink to unsubscribe. Use this URL for the link, which includes all necessary merges to identify your account and recipient: https://www.ne16.com/u?id=%%memberidchar%%&o=%%merge outmail.messageid%%&e=%%emailaddr%%&c=F&l=%%list.name%%
Tip
Consider saving a content snippet with this link that can be easily added when needed, or update your current email templates to include this new section.
