DESCRIPTION
Exporting opens or clickthrough metrics for a campaign is simple and can be accomplished on our most commonly used reports or using the Custom Report Builder (Enterprise Only).
HOW-TO
a. Export through Mailing Overview-
- Navigate to the Analytics Dashboard and select Campaigns from the left-hand side.
- Choose the Mailing Overview report
- Click "Select Mailings" at the top-left and choose the campaign you would like to review.
NOTE: Campaigns are separated by segment. If you sent a campaign to three segments, you will have three instances of the "mailing". Choose one at a time to get a clickable view of your metrics. - Select your campaign by moving the name of the campaign from the left to the right hand side and select Go
- Click on the open or click count (should look like a hyperlink)
- Click on "More" button at the top of the table: it looks like three vertical dots.
- Click on desired format (PDF, Excel, XML) to download addresses and click statistics.
NOTE: Using the Choose Fields button allows you to bring in demographic information for the subscriber such as Company, Industry, or Sales Representative if you have those fields in your contact record.
b. Exporting through Tracking Statistics-
- Navigate to the Analytics Dashboard and select Campaigns from the left-hand side.
- Choose the Tracking Statistics report
- Using the "Report Options" button at the top-right, choose the type of campaigns and time frame you would like to view. You can also use Choose Fields to bring in more metrics.
- Find the campaign that you want to pull the information from
- Opens and Clicks should be automatically displayed
- Click on the number associated with the desired metric
- Click on "More" button at the top of the table: it looks like three vertical dots. This is the same as the screenshot shown above.
- Click on desired format (PDF, Excel, XML) to download addresses and click statistics.
NOTE: Using the Choose Fields button allows you to bring in demographic information for the subscriber such as Company, Industry, or Sales Representative if you have those fields in your contact record.
c. Exporting Through Custom Report Builder - Contact Report
- Navigate to the Analytics Dashboard and select Custom Report Builder from the left-hand side.
- Click Add Custom Report. Choose Contact Report.
- Name and give your report a description. Save to a folder directory if desired.
- Open the Select Field drop-down and choose the action you want to pull the report for. (Note: You can pull Opens AND Clicks, Opened OR Clicked, etc with multiple items).
- In the Action Clause pop-up choose your Action and relevant mailings. You can also target by a certain time period or within a certain amount of days of send.
- On the Run Report drop-down, use the Choose Fields options to pull in any other relevant demographic data for your report.
- Click Run Report.
- Using the three dots at the top right of the grid you can export to Excel.
- Save the report for later use if desired!
d. Exporting through the Custom Report Builder - Campaigns
- Navigate to the Analytics Dashboard and select Custom Report Builder from the left-hand side.
- Click Add Custom Report. Choose Campaign Report.
- Name and give your report a description. Save to a folder directory if desired.
- Search for the campaign or campaigns by title, subject line, type or more.
- Click Run Report.
- On the Run Report drop-down, use the Choose Fields options to pull in any other relevant demographic data for your report.
- Click the linked number under the "Opens" column on the generated report.
- Using the three dots at the top-right of the grid, export to Excel, PDF, or MXL. Use the pop up to determine what additional fields you want to include in your export.

Contact specific data is available by default for 90 days, in some cases longer depending on your license package.
