You can create a custom automated message to new contacts in order to welcome them and set expectations. An Automated Welcome Campaign of this type can be used in subscribe forms as well as be initiated through your import process.
*NOTE: Accounts only allow for one type of Automated Welcome campaign that goes to all subscribers unless noted otherwise in an import. For more flexibility with your welcome, you may want to try the Automated-Triggered campaign type and trigger off of a join-date segment.
- Navigate to Campaigns.
- Select 'Automated' on the left menu. Choose 'Welcome' from the sub-menu.
- Click Save and Next.
- Follow the Create a Campaign Workflow as normal through your Design, Preview, and Test steps.
- In the Schedule step you will set the campaign to Running or Not Running (think of this as turning the campaign on or off). You can also add to a report group or update your Lead Score settings (Enterprise only).
