DESCRIPTION
This article takes you through creating new custom data fields or renaming existing custom fields for your ease of use.
You may re-name contact demographic fields by assigning aliases. This alias is displayed throughout the Delivra interface where that demographic is seen (ex. contact records, segment clauses, merge tags, etc).
HOW-TO
Rename a current custom field-
- From the Home page, navigate to the "Contacts" dashboard.
- Choose "Add Custom Fields" from the "More Options" section in the left-hand navigation.
- Click "Edit" to the right of the field you wish to assign an alias.
- Enter the new name.
- Click 'Ok' to save.
Create a new Custom Field-
- From the Home page, navigate to the "Contacts" dashboard.
- Choose "Add Custom Fields" from the "More Options" section in the left-hand navigation.
- Click the "+" button on the top right. Here you select the field type.
- Click "Next".
- Assign the alias and any other desired options.
- Click "Finish" to save.
